The CPA is now CPAL, The Community Provider Association of Louisiana!
Dario Scalco serves as Executive Director of the Community Provider Association of Louisiana (CPAL), where he leads advocacy, strategic partnerships, and policy initiatives to strengthen Louisiana’s community-based service providers. With more than a decade of experience in public policy, government affairs, and political strategy, Dario’s vast array of policy experience includes workers’ compensation, public pensions, election access, and property rights. He has built coalitions, guided legislative priorities, and ensured voices are heard at every level of government.
Before joining CPAL, Dario held leadership roles in government affairs and political strategy, managing multimillion-dollar PAC budgets, directing campaigns across multiple election cycles, and presenting policy proposals before legislative committees.
A proud alum of Louisiana State University and its Golden Band from Tigerland, Dario bleeds purple and gold. As a seventh-generation Louisianan, he embraces all that the Sportsman’s Paradise has to offer. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire’s Carsey School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University.
